Tri Glass Flex-Bond UV Resin
Bonds resist yellowing and are resistant to moisture and organic solvents. This blend of Urethane oligomer and Methacrylate monomer blend has a viscosity of 15-20 cps (one-third that of the Thick UV Resin) and can be cleaned up with Isopropyl alcohol and chlorinated solvents (clean stainless steel injector with acetone). This resin is a low viscosity optical-grade UV curing adhesive with excellent adhesion to glass. Bonds are resistant to moisture and organic solvents. It is an ideal product to use for windshield repair. Flex-Bond moves easily with excellent bonding strength.
“Very Good” Strength, Moisture Resistance and Resistance to Yellowing. Low refractive Index of 1.52. Film Tensile Strength of 6,800 psi. Adhesion Tensile on Glass of >1,500 psi. Full cure rate for a 2-mil gap is 30-45 seconds @ 25 mW/cm-2 intensity of a 365-nanometer wavelength ultraviolet light.
Up to 2 years (when stored below 90oF, out of sunlight, and in original container).
